Art classes for 2020 have started

February 1, 2020
After our Christmas break, DAB is back in full swing.  Art classes have started again, and details of all classes can be found by following the links to the 2020 Semester 1 Program and Timetable on this website.

For the month of February we have our normal peer groups, with Printmaking & Collage on Monday, Working with Clay on Mondays and Saturdays, Botanical Painting on Tuesday, Creative Writing & Poetry on the last Tuesday of the month, CATS on Wednesday, Urban Sketching on Thursday, and Mosaics on Saturday.

On Monday morning and Tuesday evening, there is a Hand-building with Clay class.  These classes are aimed at beginners who want to learn how to make, decorate and glaze pots.  Also keep an eye out for the monthly pottery workshops, held on the first Saturday of every month - each workshop will have a different tutor and will introduce a new technique and project.

On Sunday, 9th February, we have the first glass fusing class for the year.  Learn all about cutting and fusing glass to make beautiful glass pieces.  Keep a look out for glass pop up workshops over the next few months.
